From invite to a complete driver file
Driver onboarding software for UK courier companies
Driver onboarding software takes a new courier driver from an invite to a complete record: identity, right-to-work evidence, a copy of their driving licence, the agreement, and the depot they will work from. The driver does this on their phone. The depot sees what is still missing before anyone is put on a rota.
£6 per active driver per month · 30-day money-back guarantee · No lock-in contract
100,000+ drivers onboarded · 50+ UK fleets · 50+ Amazon DSPs
What the depot sees before a driver is rota'd
The checklist is the same shape for each driver: invited, a document still missing, ready for review, or cleared for the rota. Tag the driver to the network they will work, such as Amazon or Evri. One checklist covers every contract.
-
Invited
The driver has a link and has not finished the documents.
-
Missing document
Identity, right-to-work evidence, the driving licence copy, or the agreement is still outstanding.
-
Ready for review
The file is complete enough for the depot to review.
-
Cleared for the rota
The depot has accepted the file. The next step is the courier driver rota.
Evidence you store, duties you still carry
The Home Office employer guide sets out the right-to-work evidence an operator must keep. Zerity stores that evidence and the expiry. It does not carry out the statutory step for you.
For the driving licence, use the GOV.UK service for driving information, then store the copy and the expiry in Zerity. Zerity does not connect to the DVLA.
Drivers who already have their documents to hand often finish on their phone in about 15 minutes. That figure is for one driver with the documents ready. It is not a promise that a whole depot import finishes the same day. Self-serve the same week when you enter drivers yourself.
The agreement they sign is the start of courier self-billing. The file they join is driver compliance software. A written checklist is the onboarding guide. How the data is held is on the security page: AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit, UK and EU residency.
Onboarding questions
The phone flow, the DVLA, and how long one driver takes.

No. The driver submits a copy of their driving licence and you record the expiry. Zerity stores that evidence. It does not run an automated lookup.
Yes. The driver completes the documents and the agreement on their phone. The depot reviews what is missing before the driver is put on a rota.
Drivers who already have their documents to hand often finish in about 15 minutes. A depot import is separate. Self-serve the same week when you enter drivers yourself.
