Who keeps the record, and who owns the duty
Zerity holds the file. The legal review stays with the operator, using the official service named below. A bureau can run the driving-record query. Zerity still needs the outcome.

Amazon DSPs and multi-depot operators are usually asked for the same set. Zerity stores it against the driver and the depot, tagged by network where you use one.

Where this page stops
Driver compliance software is the person-level record. This page is the depot system around it: every driver, every vehicle document, and the pack you export for a carrier or an auditor.

- No. Zerity stores the driving licence, the date it was reviewed, and the expiry. You run the review on GOV.UK with a code the driver gives you, or through a bureau your insurer names.
- What should a DSP keep on each driver?
- A dated driving licence record, right-to-work evidence, insurance and vehicle documents, and the self-billing agreement if you pay them. The same file should show who reviewed each item.
- How is this different from a records bureau?
- A bureau queries driving records under its own data contract. Zerity keeps the outcome next to onboarding, walkaround records and pay. Many depots use a bureau and still need the file.
