GDPR and driver data security for UK courier fleets
GDPR and driver data security at Zerity means driver records are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS in transit, stored in the UK or the EU, and held by an ICO-registered company. Zerity is GDPR compliant, runs regular penetration testing and keeps encrypted backups.
Licence numbers, right-to-work files and bank details are in scope for a security review. Zerity stores the licence record, the date it was checked and the expiry, and reminds you before it lapses. Checking the licence remains the operator's legal duty. Access is limited by role, so a depot manager, a finance user and a driver do not see the same records.
