Depot operators and owner drivers
DPD delivery partner software for depot operators
Admin for firms that engage DPD drivers. Applications stay on DPD's own site.
Free for operators
DPD delivery partner software is the admin system for a depot operator or a firm that engages DPD drivers. The Owner Driver Franchise and ODF Lite are DPD programmes for a self-employed round, not a shop franchise. Applications go through DPD's own driver site. Zerity stores the records the operator is responsible for.
ODF is a round, not a shop
DPD's own brochure describes the Owner Driver Franchise and ODF Lite. Zerity does not publish deposits or earnings.
An Owner Driver Franchise is a self-employed collection and delivery round. ODF Lite is DPD's more flexible version of that model. Neither is a retail franchise. Apply at DPD's driver site.
DPD's brochure also describes 7.5 tonne rounds that need a C1 entitlement and a Driver CPC. If you run that work, store the licence copy, the CPC expiry and the tachograph card expiry. Zerity does not confirm them with the DVLA.
Operator jobs
What the depot still has to hold
- Right to work, under the Home Office employer guide, for the owner driver and for any cover driver.
- A driving licence copy and expiry date for each person. You do the confirmation. Zerity stores the document.
- Van insurance and MOT dates. Zerity does not enforce a vehicle-age rule.
- A weekly self-billed pay run. HMRC sets the self-billing rules. A live pay run does not switch over in a day.
